one word: mixed.
Positive aspects was the family friendly staff and the fact that the parking lot could currently be accessed at any time for a fixed daily price.
Negative points: two small elevators with long waiting times, no view because the window had a privacy screen to the outside. The room was not up to date, a light bulb fell out of the socket in the bathroom, the TV in the living room was hidden in a cupboard for coffee and tea and on very low position, a wardrobe was placed in the middle of the living room infront of the couch instead in the bedroom.
The breakfast area was far too small and the selection was limited to basic.
All in all, the price-performance ratio is unfortunately not convincing.
The room was very nice, with a lovely view of the river, but it was really far away from any restaurants other than the one at the hotel. Also not close to the tram lines or buses, it was kind of a dark and sketchy walk to the tram. Difficult to find anything open near the hotel. But the room itself was very comfortable.
Had a great stay here recently. Room was very big and comfortable for my family and I. Staff was friendly and breakfast was very good, especially the coffee! Would happily stay here again.
Best find in Frankfurt, despite a large overcharge on my bill, which was thankfully corrected as soon as I pointed it out. I was also disappointed in the very few TV channels and poor viewing options. But I will definitely stay there again as it is very close to where my family lives in Frankfurt. Otherwise the room was very nice and large and clean. I also loved the pool and restaurant. Can't wait to go back.
Amazingly spacious room! Was a delight staying here. Lots of space for luggage and a desk for working. Room was clean and quiet as well and the restaurant on site was also very good.
The best side of staying in a big city. Hotel Convenience with the feel of being at home in a Flat. Great views of the River and City skyline. In a reasonable walking distance to a Train Station or to shopping, dining or entertainment. And speaking of dining, the Restaurant attached to the hotel is incredible. You can’t beat this value for the price when you’re staying in Frankfurt.
Frequent traveller to this hotel: I stay at one of the nice floors of the hotel with a large room, skyline views and kitchenette.
Its a room for two people but does not offer a door to the toilet which is a bit odd but I am not disappointed at all.
The service at the reception however, was the most disappointing one in a very long time.
Team members are promising one thing and as soon as another shift takes over, the actions are different again.
I was always welcomed by Noel at the reception and this service made me return to the hotel always. He is kind and takes the time to understand his customers.
The manager (Mrs. Fuhlendorf) has to be the most unprofessional person I have ever come across in my travels.
She was asking me questions and when I responded, instantly talking to other customers ??? and when I was talking to another staff member, also whispering things in their ears? Are we children now? I had to wait for the night shift staff to get better treatment over a problem I faced. They apologised and waived off some credits (this was a business trip so the money didn't really matter so much). In the morning, I was given the whole bill again because as talking and explaining to the staff member the situation of the rudeness, the woman was whispering in the staff members ears.
She also disregarded my explaination.
In all manners, even if I was 100% wrong, I was not being rude to the staff, I was only trying to understand the problem and how we could handle it the best. Whereas this woman (the manager) was the worst thing about this hotel. Not listening, whispering rudely to other members, speaking in German loudly knowing I didn't understand it, then making me feel embarrassed for just asking questions.
Never again unless the staff is aligned on conversations and updated with their clients - otherwise please provide some training on behavioural manners with such a famous hotel.
Horrible.
Will update my team at TikTok to have better booking in the future.
Nice hotel, came for the NFL game, 2 nights, 3 days. Hotel is walking distance to new old town and the iron bridge. We had to uber to the deutsche park stadium though, 15 min ride on highways. Cost about 50€ in uber! Room was …
